Air Quality: Support the Mobile region's effort to remain in attainment with national air quality standards;
Water Quality: Maintain and improve the health of Mobile Bay Estuary;
Soil & Sediment Quality:
Protective of human health and the environment;
Wildlife Habitat: Place and improve when impacts to existing habitat is unavoidable;
Waste Management & Minimization: Control or curtail waste in the development of port facilities and ongoing port operations;
Energy Consumption: Minimize the use of energy and the resulting environmental impact.
